  Tania Integrated Rehabilitation Centre is a Community Based Organisation (CBO) which caters for children with physical impairments. The Centre currently caters for 165 children aged between 2 years and 17 years.

  To provide the physically challenged destitute children, orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC) with education and equip them with self reliance skills so that they can be independent in future.

  To create and nature a society where all people including children are not discriminated against and have a sure foundation for the future despite their physical disabilities

  Location

  Situated in Kiserian area, about 35 kilometres from Nairobi City Centre, off Magadi Road, Tania Centre is a full scale facility taking care of 165 children with special needs. The centre is spread over a ten acre parcel of land and has within it dormitories for the children, classrooms, a playing area and a number of ongoing projects.

  Projects

  Tania Integrated Rehabilitation Centre has a number of projects within its compounds. The projects are income generating but basically they help produce supplies for consumption by the Centre.

  Sponsorship

  Your contribution allows once abused, abandoned and neglected children the opportunity to live and enjoy a normal life. Specifically, it allows your sponsored child to receive access to education, medical care, and vocational training that will sustain him/her long after he/she has left the village.

  What to give

  As a child sponsor, you have the absolute right to decide the amount you would like to give. Tania Integrated School will appreciate any amount. Expenses such as food, clothing, school fees, medical care, and the salary of the teachers are subsidized by your donation.

Welcome to Tania Integrated Rehabilitation Centre's online presence. While you are on this website, we hope you feel like you are among friends. Tania Integrated Rehabilitation Centre is a unique project that focuses on children with special needs.

Situated in Kiserian area, about 35 kilometres from Nairobi City Centre, off Magadi Road, Tania Centre is a full scale facility taking care of 165 children with special needs. The centre is spread over a ten acre parcel of land and has within it dormitories for the children, classrooms, a playing area and a number of ongoing projects.

Such projects include three greenhouses that provide for the vegetable needs of the centre, a diary farm with five hybrid cows, rabbit farm, a pig stye, chicken coop and tree planting. Recently initiated projects on the land are a Biogas Tank and a dam that will soon be a fish pond.
